Nandita Khurana began her career working at the Supreme Court of India and practiced criminal and civil law in various courts. She started working with Michelin Tyres (World leader in tyre manufacturing industry) in 2008. She currently has regional and multi-jurisdictional responsibilities with Africa, India and Middle East as her direct responsibility and is the Zone General Counsel for the region. Strategy, risk management, compliance and contract management are key elements of her job.
Additionally she is also the Director- Government Relations & Public Affairs for India and on a regular basis interfaces with the Government at all levels, Central & State, on Public policy matters, welfare topics and operational issues.
Her career of over 30 years has been an enriching journey as she has experienced, in India and globally, myriad issues resulting from the peculiarities of the laws, policy & cultural diversity of different countries.
Nandita is well recognized in the legal fraternity. She volunteers for Project Abhimanyu, a not for profit initiative to skill and train law students and young lawyers.
Married with grown up twin-daughters, Nandita Khurana is an avid trekker and have been to Everest Base Camp amongst others climbs and treks. She is also a supporter of women & youth causes and look forward to mentoring when needed.
